I saw the downfall of society as I grew up in the 1970’s and 1980’s. When I watched George Orwell’s “1984” with my cousin and best friend, I had a premonition of sorts that America’s future would turn into a totalitarian society based on freedom restrictions, fear mongering, a constant state of war (War On Terror), and the systemic and systematic destruction of the U.S. Constitution and the U.S. Bill of Rights. I figured this would happen by the time I was 70, and I was 14 at the time. My calculations were a bit off, since I’m 42, and I see now the collapse of the United States of America as a once great country overrun by oligarchs and plutocracy! Capitalism is dead, and it cannot and unfortunately will not be revived, unless a mass revolution occurs in the very near future. If it does not then our future and the future of generations before us are doomed to total repression and imprisonment in a new slavery state!
